As most of the city was, I was hit by the April 28 hail storm. Had no idea who to call, just got lucky and picked Statewide. A very friendly company, top to bottom. The March 2nd storms dropped hail that damaged my home. I contacted Statewide because I wanted a local company that were not "Storm Chasers" and I wanted someone who worked with insurance claims. Statewide came out and found damage on my roof, gutters, siding, etc. and worked with myself and my insurance company from start to finish to get my claim approved. Once the claim was approved Statewide began the work on my home and finished it in a timely fashion. The work was of high quality and actually improved the look of my home prior to the damage. Having been serving as a pastor and or in the area of ministry since 1973, not mention that I was in the contracting business for a while during this stated time. I have had the opportunity to work with quite a few contractors. When the storms came through our area, contractors were a dime a dozen. We were bombarded every day with phone calls and visits. I had one of the field representatives of Statewide come by and we talked and went over the damage. He showed a real knowledge of the work and concern not only to get the job but to guarantee that the work would be of top quality. They worked very well with our insurance company as well as set up all the meetings with adjusters. They did absolutely all that they had contracted and promised to do and in a very timely manner. Kudos and thanks to Statewide Roofing and particularly to their representative Sean Milburn. After a hail storm one Friday afternoon, Sean stopped by our house on Sunday afternoon and offered to do a free inspection of our roof. The damage wasn't visible fromthe ground but Sean assured us that if we got on the roof we could see it. No thanks, too steep!

We contacted our insurance company and their adjuster confirmed Sean's evaluation. Sean worked with us through the entire process. The work was scheduled to meet our needs. The materials and work crew arrived on the scheduled days. The work was accomplished without delay of circumstance by an obviously experienced and professional crew. From delivery day to completion in less than three days.

On March 2, 2012, a chain of storms struck Kentuckiana. My house among many others in my neighborhood were in the storms path. As the storms passed through, they dropped hail on my neighborhood.

Shortly after the storms had passed I had several different roofing companies knocking on my door telling me I had hail damage. All of these roofing companies were located out of state and they had come in chasing the storms, I later found out. Other than a broken window, I did not notice any other hail damage. Then again, "I woul''nt know what to look for". Between talking to my neighbors and seeing all the roofing crews in town, I started to wonder if I had some damage. I did not want to use any "Out of town" companies/storm cashers to look at my roof because I had heard nothing good about them. I called a couple local roofing companies only to find out that they could not get to me in a timely fashion. I did not know what to do. My options started to seem limited. read more

Then I remembered shortly after the storms hit I had received a piece of mail from a company called, "Statewide Roofing & Restorantion". On the card I had noticed that they were local and specialized in insurance work. So I gave them a call. Within 24 hours of my call to Statewide, I had a representative at my house. The rep inspected my roof, gutters, siding and some other things-(That I don't know the name of) and found hail damage. I was shocked!!! The reason I felt that way was because the hail damage on my gutters, siding, and window frames was, Right in front of me the whole time and I didn't even see it. I was amazed at the little "dings". The rep. also showed me pictures he had took while on the roof and I couldn't believe it. There were dents all over my "box vents" and spots on my shingles.

I didn't know what to do!!! I had never filed a claim on my house and didn't know really where to start. Luckly the rep. walked me through the whole process and stayed with me while I contacted my insurance company. About a week later my insurance company sent out an adjuster to look at the damage. The rep. from Statewide met with him and looked at the damage with him. After they looked at the damage the adjuster told me that I had plenty of damage on my roof, gutters, siding, etc. and it needed to be replaced. The rep. from Statewide worked with my adjuster and insurance company to get all the paper work and estimate approved. It was awesome!!!! After all the negotiating and paper work was done, Statewide came out and installed a new roof, gutters, siding and some other things on my home.

The whole process from start to finish was flawless!!! Statewide was very professional and knowledgeable during the whole process. I didn't have to do anything except pick out the shingle, siding and gutter color. The house looks great and now I have a reliable and trustworthy company to work on my home in the future.
